Crossfit Camps - Mobility edition

 

3-day camp of Crossfit and a specialty

During our camps you combine Crossfit WODs with a deep dive into a specialty area. 3 days to learn the basics, time to practice on skills and have fun with like minded people. Work on your own level, get personal attention from our experienced coaches. We kick-off with the Mobility edition, and the mountain bike MTB edition will follow after the summer.

Mobility Camp

Increase your fitness and mobility, become comfortable with being upside down during our Mobility Camp. In this 3-day camp, you will test your mobility, set your personal goals for improvement, acquire fundamental knowledge about muscle stretching, pro’s and cons of poses, and understand which exercises work for you. You will get tips and tools on how to incorporate this in your daily routines to sustain your progress. Also you will play around with various inversion poses, hand- and arm-balancing, to support your gymnastic techniques. You will get more comfortable with being upside down, which benefits your handstand pushups, wall walks, handstand walks, etc. At the end you will have a personalized plan and a set of goals to become and remain more mobile.

  • Friday – 18:30h-20:30h - arrival, introduction, testing, goal setting and a WOD
  • Saturday – 11:30h-14:30h - theory, learnshop, workshop
  • Sunday - 10h-13h - workshop, active flow, testing, closure

Location

Crossfit Upside Down is a cozy box located in Kamperland, the touristic area of Zeeland, southwest of the Netherlands. Only 4 km away from splendid beaches, dunes and forests, in proximity of campings and holiday resorts and historical and cultural activities. A location very suitable to combine fitness with a weekend away or summer holidays.

CFUSD Members price: €139,-
Early bird price : €159,- (book before 16 june)
Regular price : €179,- (after 16 june)

Enrollment is limited! Discount of 10% for past participants. With less than 10 participants, Crossfit Upside down has the right to cancel the camp. You then have the option to transfer to the following camp, or be reimbursed on the amount paid. When the enrollment is full, you can be added to the waitlist, or sign up for the following camp. First payment of 35% is required 4 weeks in advance, final payment of 65% is required 2 weeks in advance.

You also get a 10% discount on Crossfit Upside Down merchandise. We have t-shirts, sweaters, etc. Pre-order your size to make sure you won’t miss out (stock is limited).

 

What is included?

Included in the camp package is:

  • 2 Crossfit WODs
  • Drinks (coffee, tea, water) and healthy snacks & fruit
  • Your personal Mobility booklet
  • 10% discount on your next camp participation

Excluded from the camp is:

  • Lunch and dinner - a supermarket is within 500 m distance as are several restaurants and snack bars or bring your own
  • Accommodation - see below for suggested nearby options to book
  • Transportation - free parking next to the box
  • Cancellation or any other form of insurance

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation must be done via email at info@crossfitupsidedown.nl. The deposit of 35% is non-refundable, if the booking is canceled within 4 weeks of the start date. The full amount paid is non-refundable, if the booking is canceled within 1 week of the start date.

 

Other Camp specialty offerings

Next to Mobility, we offer Mountainbike (MTB) camps in the fall of 2023. We are working on finalizing the program details, so stay in touch for updates on our social media channels, or leave us your email so we can contact you timely.

 

Liability

When signing up to our camps, you agree to our general terms and conditions and need to sign a waiver. Athletes participate fully at their own risk and responsibility. Therefore check beforehand if you want to arrange for additional insurances. Crossfit Upside Down can not be held responsible when a participant sustains injury, damage or passes away during a camp.

 

 

 

 

Organization and trainers

Crossfit Upside Down offers WODs, Gymnastics classes and Personal Training in a well equipped box. More than 80 enthusiastic members workout regularly and come from villages in the surroundings of Kamperland, Zeeland. Jean-Paul Dogge is founder and owner of Crossfit Upside Down. He obtained his level 1 trainer certification in 2014. He is also very fond of mountain biking (MTB). Masja Kristelijn is a visiting trainer, holds a crossfit level 1 trainer certificate and 50h yoga certificate, based in Amsterdam, where she practices Crossfit, Powerlifting and Ashtanga and Yin Yoga.
